India decides to impose five-year anti-dumping duties on red phosphorus originating in China

On March 19, 2014, India's consumption tax and customs announced that it accepted the final anti-dumping recommendation made by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on red phosphorus originating in China and decided to impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on red phosphorus originating in China. The tax rate is US$1.20/kg, and this measure will be formally implemented from the date of this announcement. The customs code of the product involved is 28047020.
In September 2012, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an anti-dumping investigation on red phosphorus originating in China; in December 2013, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry made a positive final ruling on the case.
